Blog 2.5

Its crazy to think there is less than 90 days left of our senior years, and that means less than 90 days to think up creative genius hour starts to my blogs. It brings tears to my eyes to write this ( I was yawning as I was writing this...). Genius hour has taught me so many important lessons like dont procastoinate till the night something is due (which I am doing currently in this very blog). Now that ive quit yawning, I can stop crying and being all emotional then actually tell all yall what "amazing" thing im up to this week with my project.
These last two weeks weren't as productive as I would have liked to say the least. Although I can say I did some self reflection and had the chance after cleaning out one of my folders from sesmister to look at the handwriting on some of my schoolwork. It was pretty painful to look at. Now when I write and actally put some effort into it isn't all that bad. What I did manage to do was focusing all the time on trying to have better handwriting. I had this moment of pure joy this week when Kelly Rehm told me my handwriting looked good, but when I realized what she was looking at, it was my typed science writeup. It is moments like these that movtivate me to better try to really slow down, focus, and write beautifuly. Alot of you may be thinking im just filling pages with words, and yes I am filling pages with words, but they are important words, neccassry to the story of how I get great handwriting. These last two weeks I did a little bit with writing, not with the calligraphy pen but with a pencil and just trying to do my schoolwork beautifully.
I want to thank all you guys for being wonderful role models for me to look up as we race towards the finsh line of our highschool experience.

  1. Don't stress about not getting as much done as you planned, I think a lot of us are struggling with that. I am really happy that this is helping you with your day to day work! I am so excited to see where you take this project!

  2. Steven, I’m glad your handwriting is getting better. It’s okay to cry about things, sometimes we just have to let it all out and that’s what you are doing. But I really do hope you can fix your handwriting for the benefit of all us around you. Good luck with this genius hour Stevie.
